Seven «Technological» Policies to Protect the Companies
E-Mail, Internet, Computers...: The Guidelines to Be Followed by Employees

MONTREAL, November 25, 1998 -/ After having been the first legal publisher to offer Internet contract forms in 1997, Jurifax is again innovating by introducing today seven technologically oriented policy forms for companies:

These company policy forms answer to an urgent business need. Since companies are often at a loss when dealing with improper use of their technological resources, they must impose guidelines to their employees. However, barely 10% of companies have such written policies.

Description
The Jurifax company policy forms clearly specify the guidelines to be followed by employees. These forms also indicate:

  • the company's various rights, including the right to monitor and intercept any communication initiated from the company's technological ressources;

  • the use of resources for personal purposes;

  • the protection of the company's and third parties' intellectual property;

  • the employees' written commitment to respect the policy;

  • the applicable sanctions in case of violation, leading in some cases to dismissal.

The Jurifax company policy forms may also be easily adapted to the needs of educational institutions, governmental agencies and associations of individuals.

Format and Price
The Jurifax company policy forms are available in English, French and Spanish, in digital format that may be readily adapted. A user’s guide is provided. Each form is offered at US$34.99 and may be ordered on-line directly from the Jurifax Store.

He has consulted over 500 technology-related policies, originating from numerous countries, fields of activity and businesses.
